2 months agoA Belated Anniversary Dinner. The whole experience was outstanding. Excellent, well-thought, understanding service. Delicious food. Very nice atmosphere. Nice decor, sturdy tables and chairs. I was very happy with this meal, as was my Wife. Thank You!

4 months agoNo sauce on my chimi. No lettuce, salsa, anything on the side but a small dallop of sour cream. Beans were plain, not even sprinkles of cheese. Also I was told my gift card had zero dollars on it....but I had never used it. Makes me assumme that they zero them out after a certain unknown point in time.

6 months agoFood (Quesadillas) was excellent (I even enjoyed the leftovers the next day!). Staff friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. Vegetarian food was available. Not overpriced. Would recommend it to anyone.

6 months agoI enjoyed a combo fajitas which was excellent. I normally skipped the tortilla but they also looked very good and hot. We arrived shortly before closing time but the staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

2 years agoThe Botana La Mex was a tasty appetizer. The main dishes like the Steak Fajitas and Chimichanga lacked flavor and spices. The kids meals were average. Chips and salsa were below average. Bland and limited salsa quantity. Great quality of food. Friendly and attentive service.

2 years agoThis place has really gone downhill. This used to be our favorite Mexican restaurant key words “used to be”. Since inflation and covid their portions are so much smaller than they used to be. The quality of the food wasn’t great. We didn’t enjoy our meal. We won’t be coming back. In the first & second picture it’s supposed to be “steak tacos” with tons of cilantro but the meat portion? In the last photo was the chili relleno combo with tostada and a cheese enchilada. I remember the chili relleno’s being double in size. Such a disappointment for a small town.

7 years agoGood food and certainly good portion size. The service was good as well. They apparently stay pretty busy. However, their parking lot needs to be repaired badly. Huge deep holes!!! So drive with caution.
